Styling notes

Because the outfit is tonal rather than gold-worked, it does not dictate your jewellery the way a classic red and gold lehenga does. Polki and uncut diamond sit beautifully against it, as does antique gold. Pearl gives a softer, more modern result. If you want the traditional bridal look, heavy gold with red stones still works and will read as intentional against the tonal base. Keep the lip deep rather than bright so it does not compete with the skirt.
