About this lehenga
This is the most heavily worked piece in the collection, and it makes no attempt to hide it. The entire skirt is covered in beadwork, arranged in overlapping scalloped fans that stack in rows from waist to hem, each row slightly larger than the one above it so the pattern grows as the skirt widens.
The work itself is a mix of cutdana, bugle beads and sequins in bronze, copper and antique gold, laid over a chocolate brown base. Because the beads sit at slightly different angles across each fan, the surface never reads as flat metallic gold. It shifts constantly as you move, which is the entire point of a piece like this and the reason it performs so well under evening lighting.
The choli is sleeveless with a V neckline, beaded to match, and finished with a short beaded fringe along the hem. The dupatta is a sheer bronze net scattered with small motifs, edged with an embroidered border and weighted at the corners with ball tassels.
Fit and sizing
Available in AU sizes 6 to 20. The choli is supplied with margin at the seams so it can be taken in to your measurements, and skirt length is set during your fitting. Because the skirt is beaded to the hem, shortening it is more involved than on a plain lehenga and the border may need to be lifted and reset, so please allow extra time if a significant length change is needed.
Styling notes
The outfit is doing enough on its own that heavy jewellery works against it. A pair of statement earrings and a single bangle stack is usually the right call, in antique or rose gold rather than bright yellow gold or silver. Warm-toned makeup, a bronze or berry lip, and gold or nude heels finish it. Skip the necklace entirely if you can, since the V neckline and beaded choli already draw the eye.
A note on weight
Dense beadwork adds real weight, and this piece sits at the heavier end of what we stock. That is entirely normal for a fully beaded lehenga and most customers wear it comfortably for an evening.
