About this lehenga
Peacock motifs are a traditional element handled here in a distinctly modern way. Rather than rendering them in gold zari, the design works them in silver-grey thread against an ivory net base, scaled large across the lower half of the skirt so each bird occupies a full panel. Around them, blush pink and peach florals run in finer resham with pearl and sequin fill catching the light between the motifs.
That combination of a pale base, a cool grey accent and warm pastel florals is unusual, and it is what gives the outfit its softness. Nothing on it is high contrast, so the whole piece reads as texture and light rather than pattern, which is why it performs better in person and under evening lighting than it does in a flat product photograph.

Available in AU sizes 6 to 20. The choli is supplied with margin at the seams, and sleeve length, neckline depth and skirt length are set during your fitting. Because the hem is scalloped rather than straight, shortening the skirt requires the scallop to be lifted and reset, so allow extra time if a significant length change is needed. For a fixed wedding date we recommend starting four to six weeks out.
Styling notes
The silver-grey in the peacocks is the detail most people miss, and building your jewellery around it is what makes the outfit look styled rather than merely matched. Diamond, platinum and pearl all pick it up directly. If you prefer gold, keep it to rose or antique rather than bright yellow, which fights the grey. Soft warm makeup and blush or nude heels suit the palette; anything too stark will overpower it.
Caring for pale fabric
Ivory shows marks far more readily than deep colours, particularly around the hem and the inside of the sleeves. Dry clean promptly after wear, store in breathable cotton rather than plastic, and keep it away from humidity, which can tarnish the metallic sequin fill over time.
