About this lehenga
Royal blue is one of the few colours that reads as both traditional and modern, and this piece leans into that. The base is a premium silk blend in a deep, saturated blue, cut as a full A-line skirt with a canvas-lined hem so the flare stays sharp through a long evening rather than collapsing after an hour.
The embroidery is the centrepiece. Silver zardozi-style floral and leaf motifs climb the skirt in vertical panels, growing denser towards the hem before finishing in a scalloped border. The sleeveless choli carries the same motif across a square neckline, with a separately embroidered waistband tying the two halves together.
The dupatta is soft net, scattered with fine sequins that catch light without overwhelming the embroidery underneath, and edged in matching lace with a tassel finish. It is long enough to drape over one shoulder in the classic style, or to pin at the waist for a lighter reception look.
Fit and sizing
Available in AU sizes 6 to 20. The choli is supplied with margin at the seams so it can be adjusted to your measurements, and skirt length is set during your fitting. Most alterations are completed within 7 to 14 days. If you are ordering for a specific wedding date, we recommend allowing at least three weeks.
Styling notes
Royal blue sits well with silver, white gold and polki jewellery; heavy gold tends to compete with the silver thread work. A statement choker with matching jhumkas is usually enough, since the embroidery is already doing the work. For footwear, silver or nude heels keep the focus on the skirt.
Occasions this suits
Wedding & reception
The depth of the royal blue photographs beautifully under evening lighting, making it a strong choice for reception entries and couple portraits.
Engagement & roka
Formal enough to lead the ceremony, comfortable enough to wear across a long day of greetings and photographs.
Sangeet & mehndi
The canvas-lined flare holds its shape while dancing, and the lightweight net dupatta can be pinned back out of the way.
Wedding guest
A polished option for bridesmaids and guests who want colour without competing with the bride.
Diwali & festive
Silver work against royal blue suits diya-lit evenings and family festive gatherings.
