About this lehenga
Where a lot of blue lehengas rely on all-over embroidery, this one is built on structure. The base is a smooth sky blue silk, and the gold zari is arranged in vertical panels that run the full length of the skirt, each one a repeating motif set between narrow embroidered borders. The effect is architectural rather than decorative, and it has a lengthening quality that many customers find more flattering than a scattered pattern.
At the hem the panels give way to a deep border built from three distinct bands of work, each with its own motif, stacked to create weight at the base of the skirt. That weight is what makes the A-line flare hang properly, helped by a canvas-supported hem.
The choli is sleeveless with a scoop neckline, embroidered front and back in matching zari. The dupatta is sky blue net finished with a gold embroidered lace border along its full length.

Styling notes
Sky blue and gold is a daylight combination, and it rewards jewellery that stays warm. Polki, kundan and antique gold all sit well; silver and platinum fight the zari. Pearl works particularly well if you want to keep the look soft for a daytime ceremony. Because the choli is sleeveless with a scoop neck, there is room for a fuller necklace than most of our other pieces take.
Which sky blue is right for you?
We stock two sky blue lehengas and customers often want to compare them. This one is silk with graphic gold panels and a lighter overall weight, better suited to warm weather and long daytime functions. The alternative is a net base with dense cream and turquoise thread embroidery throughout, softer in finish and more heavily worked, which makes it the stronger choice for an evening event. Both are in store, and the simplest way to decide is to try them side by side.
